What counts as commercial here
Covered facilities: warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, cold storage, food and beverage facilities, auto-service bays and fleet garages, workshops, commercial self-storage, resort and hotel back-of-house receiving, and commercial buildings generally. One drive-in door on a small shop counts.
Covered equipment: loading dock levelers, dock plates and boards, dock doors, commercial garage and overhead doors, roll-up and coiling doors, grilles and counter shutters, high-speed doors, fire-rated rolling doors, dock seals, shelters, bumpers and lights, trailer restraints, dock locks, communication lights and interlocks, and the operators, controls and sensors on all of them.
Not covered: residential garage doors; boat docks and boat lifts; truck and trailer cargo doors; pedestrian storefront entrances, automatic entry doors, glass and hollow-metal walk-through doors and their locks and closers; parts-only orders; structural concrete, pit and slab work. If your problem is one of those, look for a residential garage-door company, a marine contractor, a truck-body shop, a commercial door-and-hardware or automatic-door contractor, or a concrete contractor.
