Counties and communities we cover

These are the places facilities can call from. The independent provider confirms the facility address and its own availability.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics' Jacksonville area definition lists Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties. That is the five-county geography used here to organize requests, not a drive radius or a promise of provider availability.

The right-hand column is the part people actually need, because the office that issues your permit depends on the address, not the mailing city.

Cross-county communities: Oakleaf extends into both Clay and Duval, and the Nocatee planned community extends into both St. Johns and Duval. These community names remain in the request area; use the parcel address to confirm the county and permitting authority.

Places without their own page

Green Cove Springs, Middleburg, Fleming Island, and Keystone Heights in Clay County; Oakleaf spans Clay and Duval. Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Baldwin in Duval. Callahan, Hilliard, and Bryceville in Nassau. Macclenny, Glen St. Mary, Sanderson, and Olustee in Baker. Ponte Vedra Beach, Hastings, Elkton, and World Golf Village in St. Johns; Nocatee spans St. Johns and Duval.

Facilities in all of them can call. Use the county table to find the relevant office, or the service links below for the equipment answer. A separate town page is not required to describe your facility or request work.

Facilities near the edge of the area

The Jacksonville metro sits entirely in Florida, so there's no second-state rulebook to work through here. But the edges run somewhere.

Nassau and Baker counties border Georgia, and the metro's other edges run into Putnam, Flagler, Bradford, and Columbia counties. Facilities just outside those lines — Kingsland, St. Marys, and Folkston in Georgia; Starke, Lake City, Palatka, and Palm Coast in Florida — are outside the five-county request area described here. Give the address when you call; the provider confirms its own location and work scope.

Georgia isn't published as covered territory here. Different state, different licensing and permitting, and nothing in the Florida rulebook on these pages applies across that line.

How coverage actually works

Call about dock and commercial door work at facilities in the places named above. The independent provider confirms the facility address and its own availability.

That's the honest version. There's no drive radius, no guaranteed territory, and no map pin. The five-county grouping comes from the cited metropolitan definition, and they're used to organize requests — not to promise that someone is standing by for every address on the list.

Which service page do you need?

Commercial equipment only. Not residential garage doors, boat docks or boat lifts, truck or trailer cargo doors, pedestrian storefront or walk-through doors with their locks and closers, parts-only orders, or structural concrete, pit, or slab work.

Call about your facility

Give us the address and what stopped working. If the address is near the edge of the area, say so; the provider confirms whether it can take the work.
