The parts are different, the assessment can include the controller, drive, guides, and any counterbalance system, and the person who's good at sectional doors isn't automatically the person for this. "It's just a roll-up door" is how the wrong truck shows up.

Common high-speed door faults
Struck by a forklift and won't reset. Many high-speed doors are designed to release and re-seat, but "designed to reset" doesn't mean "reset it yourself." Whether the curtain, the guides, the bottom beam, and the drive came through it undamaged is a question for someone who can look. Don't force a curtain back into a guide and don't keep cycling it to see if it takes.
Controller shows a fault or won't take a command. High-speed doors run through a control panel that watches the drive, the encoder, and the safety devices. A fault code is useful information to report if it's displayed where you can read it. It is not a diagnosis, and codes don't mean the same thing across brands.
Activation devices. Floor loops, motion sensors, pull cords, radio remotes, push buttons. A door that "won't open" sometimes has nothing wrong with the door — the loop or the sensor stopped calling for it.
Photo-eyes and safety edges. Same rule as every powered door. UL 325 defines the entrapment-protection device types used on door operators. A technician who switches one off to make a door run has not repaired it.
