Do not bypass a safety device to keep the opening running, and do not try to re-seat a curtain that has broken away. Keep people clear, take the opening out of use through your facility's existing process, and describe what happened.
Breakaway curtains, and what "self-repairing" actually means
Many high-speed doors are designed so an impact releases the curtain from its guides instead of destroying the assembly, and a lot of them will re-seat themselves on the next cycle. That is a damage-limiting design. It is not a guarantee that nothing was hurt.
A strike can also damage the guides, brackets or drive. A door that has broken away several times, or one that re-seated after a hard strike, still deserves a look — re-seating does not prove the assembly is undamaged.

- Cycle counts depend on traffic at the opening. Include actual use as well as age when discussing wear and maintenance.

DASMA TDS 457 distinguishes compliance from third-party listing and labeling: the applicable requirements and the manufacturer's instructions need checking for the actual high-performance door. In practice: report the fault code and the behavior, never bypass an entrapment protection device, and do not cycle a damaged door to see whether it clears.
