Wichita and Sedgwick County communities

Wichita
MABCD is the starting department for Wichita and unincorporated Sedgwick County. For a multi-building facility, identify the affected entrance or bay if known. Start with loading dock repair for a mixed bay problem, overhead doors or rolling doors for the door, and levelers for the loading bridge.
Park City, Bel Aire, Kechi and Valley Center
Start municipal permit questions with the actual city, using the offices in MABCD's directory. The directory specifically identifies a separate Valley Center contractor license; do not apply that rule to every municipality. Maize, Goddard, Colwich, Andale and Bentley

Derby, Haysville, Clearwater, Cheney and Garden Plain

Butler County communities

Andover, Rose Hill and Benton
Andover's department states that, from June 28, 2025, most permits use an MABCD contractor license and a certificate of insurance naming the city as certificate holder instead of a separate Andover license. The page lists exceptions; confirm the specific work with Andover Building & Inspections. Rose Hill and Benton have their own municipal starting inquiries.

Augusta, El Dorado, Towanda and Douglass

Newton, North Newton and Walton
Newton's Engineering Department identifies contracted building services for North Newton and Walton; confirm the actual project route with that office.
