Which counties form the Tulsa metro repair request area?

The Census's July 2023 metro delineation lists seven counties for the Tulsa, OK metropolitan statistical area: Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, and Wagoner. This is a location guide for callers, not a company's guaranteed territory. The provider confirms the actual facility and work. Census metro delineation

The community relationships use the Census 2020 place-by-county file as a dated baseline. Several names appear in more than one row because those places cross county lines. The table is not a current parcel-jurisdiction determination. Census Oklahoma place/county file

Does the mailing address tell you which permit office to use?

Not by itself. A city name in a postal address does not establish city limits, county jurisdiction, or port-property permissions. The provider and issuing office should confirm the exact facility before deciding which review, permits, or registration apply.

The Census baseline places portions of Tulsa in Tulsa, Osage, Rogers, and Wagoner counties. Broken Arrow and Bixby cross Tulsa and Wagoner; Owasso and Collinsville cross Tulsa and Rogers. Those relationships explain why an address is more useful than a guessed permit office. Census place/county file

Use the Tulsa-area local rulebook for current state code and official lookup links. It covers the September 14, 2026 state code change and Tulsa's older online code listing without assigning a code or exemption to your door.

Tulsa County: Tulsa and the surrounding communities

Tulsa, Jenks, Glenpool, Turley, and the Tulsa County portions of the cross-county places above are part of this caller guide. A warehouse dock, fleet-shop sectional door, and commercial storage roll-up door need different equipment scopes even when the addresses are close together. Choose the equipment task as well as the facility location.

For property inside Tulsa city limits, start with Tulsa Plans Review. The county's published guidance addresses permits outside incorporated city limits. The actual address and work need confirmation by the provider and responsible office. Tulsa County guidance

Jenks, Bixby, Glenpool, Sand Springs, Skiatook, and Sperry

Facilities in these communities can describe the commercial equipment families in the services directory. Bixby crosses Tulsa and Wagoner counties; Sand Springs, Skiatook, and Sperry cross Tulsa and Osage in the Census baseline. Keep the full address with the request and let the applicable office confirm jurisdiction.

Owasso and Collinsville

Owasso and Collinsville each have portions in Tulsa and Rogers counties. For an Owasso facility inside city limits, the city's official permit guidance is a useful starting point. A Tulsa-area phone request does not change which office reviews the actual property.

For a powered door replacement, ask who handles the door assembly, supply wiring, and any separate permit or credential checks. For a loading-dock problem, name the leveler and restraint separately if both are affected. Use overhead door repair, leveler repair, and restraint repair for those scopes.

Rogers County: Claremore, Catoosa, Inola, and northern communities

This guide includes Claremore, Catoosa, Inola, Verdigris, Chelsea, Oologah, Talala, Foyil, Fair Oaks, and the county portions of Owasso, Collinsville, and Tulsa. A port, industrial park, or tenant name can help locate a commercial bay, but the address still determines the local authority. Existing site information is enough; do not approach damaged equipment for details.

The Catoosa repair page distinguishes truck loading docks from marine equipment and explains Tulsa Ports' contractor and alteration rules. Tulsa Port of Inola is a separate port location; identify which facility you mean. Tulsa Ports overview; Port of Inola

Claremore

A Claremore facility can call about a commercial dock, overhead door, roll-up door, or related equipment. For property inside city limits, start with Claremore's official permit guidance and have the provider confirm the actual building and trade scope. A Rogers County address outside the city requires its own jurisdiction check.

If the job changes an opening or adds operator wiring, keep those items separate in the quote from an ordinary component repair. If a truck struck the bay, ask whether supports, anchors, or the dock face need assessment beyond the door. You do not need the trade name before calling.

Wagoner County: Broken Arrow, Coweta, and the eastern side

This guide includes Coweta, Wagoner, Porter, Okay, Redbird, Tullahassee, Fair Oaks, and county portions of Broken Arrow, Bixby, Catoosa, and Tulsa. The Broken Arrow page explains the city-versus-unincorporated distinction. Wagoner County's Building office provides guidance for unincorporated property; the provider and office confirm the scope and any applicable exception. Wagoner County Building

Do not confuse Fair Oaks as a geographic place name with a current parcel decision. PartnerTulsa also publishes a Fair Oaks Industrial Park location guide. Give the facility address and known business-park name so the property and entrance can be established. Fair Oaks Industrial Park

Creek County: Sapulpa and the western communities

Facilities in Sapulpa, Kiefer, Kellyville, Bristow, Drumright, Oilton, Mannford, Mounds, Oakhurst, and Depew can call with the actual address and equipment problem. The Sapulpa page explains its city registration and trade-permit questions. Creek County's guidance for unincorporated property is different from the city's.

The county says it is not currently issuing building permits or performing building inspections in unincorporated Creek County. That does not remove state construction standards, separately regulated trade work, floodplain rules, or other applicable requirements. The provider and responsible offices confirm the project. Creek County planning FAQ; OUBCC state-minimum guidance

Mannford spans Creek, Pawnee, and Tulsa counties in the Census baseline. Mounds spans Creek and Okmulgee; Oakhurst spans Creek and Tulsa; Drumright also extends into Payne County. Keep those distinctions with the address rather than assigning one office from the town name. Census place/county file

Osage County: the northern and northwestern side

This guide includes Hominy, Pawhuska, Barnsdall, Fairfax, Wynona, and Osage portions of Sand Springs, Skiatook, Sperry, Tulsa, and Bartlesville. A Bartlesville mailing city does not make every facility part of the same county or metro definition. The 2020 Census baseline places part of the city in Osage and part in Washington County. Census place/county file

For a repair request, describe the actual commercial building equipment and address. For an altered opening or electrical work, have the provider establish the responsible office and trade scope. Do not carry Tulsa city's permit answer over to an Osage County property.

Pawnee County: Cleveland, Pawnee, and nearby towns

Cleveland, Pawnee, Hallett, Jennings, Westport, Ralston, and the county portion of Mannford are in this guide. A facility can call about a warehouse door, shop overhead door, rolling door, or loading dock without already knowing the model. The company confirms the address, equipment, and availability.

For replacement, explain how the opening is used and whether known building or power changes are part of the project. The installation page gives the full scope questions; the applicable local office still confirms the property requirements.

Okmulgee County: Okmulgee, Henryetta, and surrounding communities

This guide includes Okmulgee, Henryetta, Beggs, Morris, Mounds, Dewar, Schulter, and Liberty. Liberty here means the town in Tulsa and Okmulgee counties, not the separate Liberty census-designated place in Sequoyah County. The Census baseline also shows an Okmulgee city portion in Okfuskee County. Census place/county file

When several loading bays are involved, identify the affected bay and whether it is the door, leveler, or restraint that failed. For planned work, a simple equipment list helps the company define maintenance separately from repair authorizations.

Industrial locations: give the facility, not just the park

A known park or port name can help identify a facility, but it does not establish the installed equipment or imply a service history there. Give the tenant or building name and entrance already known along with the address. The company confirms the work and access requirements.

Tulsa Port of Catoosa and Tulsa Port of Inola are distinct locations. Fair Oaks Industrial Park has its own published location information. Cherokee Industrial Park in north Tulsa and the Tulsa International Airport industrial area are also useful location descriptions; government records establish that context without identifying a caller's equipment. Cherokee Industrial Park, 2017; airport-area city record, 2021. Broken Arrow's planning records identify Creek 51 Business Park and the Jackson Mills business-park context; those records are location references, not proof of current occupants or equipment. Tulsa Ports, Fair Oaks, Broken Arrow planning record, 2018

What about facilities farther out?

A caller outside the seven-county reference can give the address and ask the company to assess the location. That does not extend a guaranteed territory. Bartlesville's Washington County portion and Muskogee/Muskogee County are outside the Tulsa MSA; portions of Drumright in Payne and Okmulgee in Okfuskee also need that distinction. Census metro and place files

Pryor-area facilities, including callers using the MidAmerica Industrial Park name, and Tahlequah-area facilities can identify their actual address for provider confirmation. They are not added to the seven-county metro by appearing here. Stillwater and Stroud already have context in Uptime's Oklahoma City service-area guide; use that existing location guidance for those requests.

Services facilities can ask about across the metro

Choose commercial garage and overhead door repair, roll-up and rolling-steel door repair, or dock leveler, plate, and board repair for the main moving equipment.

For the rest of the bay, use dock seals, shelters, and bumpers or trailer restraints and signals. Specialized openings have high-speed and cold-storage door and rolling fire-door pages.

Planned work has separate maintenance and installation or replacement pages. The Tulsa services directory keeps the whole catalogue together. Scope is commercial building equipment, not house garages, boat docks, vehicle-body repairs, pedestrian entry doors, or concrete construction.

Call with the facility address

The city, address, and observed problem are enough. A request may be shared with an independent company, which confirms whether it can handle the equipment at the facility and its earliest availability. You can call without a model number, measurements, photos, or a diagnosis.

Do not approach damaged equipment to obtain details. If known, add the bay number and whether the door is stuck open or the dock is down. For preparation and price questions, use Tulsa contact guidance.

If you reach voicemail, leave the facility address, the door or dock number if known, what's wrong, and a callback number.

Give the actual facility address and ask the company to confirm the location and scope.
