Fairfield
For a Fairfield commercial opening, use the Essex County facility address and the actual door or dock problem. Keep an ordinary equipment repair separate from any damaged wall, pit or slab; structural work is not included just because the request concerns a loading dock. Rahway and Hillside
These are Union County requests, not Elizabeth or Linden addresses by default. Give the actual municipality, opening and authorized property contact. For a door and a leveler at the same bay, describe both observed problems; the company confirms whether its agreed scope includes both.
Carteret and Edison
Use the actual Middlesex County municipality and building address. An existing warehouse or site name can help identify the entrance, but it does not identify the equipment mechanism or authorize access. A building door belongs on the overhead or rolling-door page; the installed loading bridge belongs on the leveler page.
South Brunswick and Cranbury
Identify which municipality contains the property before applying a construction-office answer. A larger commercial site name or mailing reference is not a substitute for the facility's actual address. Share existing plans or permit records only when already available; calling about the failure does not require a records search.
Mount Olive
Mount Olive's municipal description identifies Budd Lake and Flanders as its communities. Use the actual facility and opening when calling from either; these farther-out requests are reviewed case by case. A warehouse door, installed leveler and portable board remain different equipment even at the same loading position.
Carlstadt
For applicable applications involving a property inside the Meadowlands District, NJSEA directs initial electronic submission to NJSEA before municipal review. This instruction also covers applicable district properties in Kearny and Secaucus. Check the parcel and actual work first; it does not establish that every dock or door repair needs an application.
What changes on the New York side?
New York requests are reviewed case by case using the actual facility address. New Jersey maintenance and permit answers do not carry across the state line. New York City and other New York municipalities also have different authority routes.

Why does this page include places beyond Newark?
The Census delineation files identify July 2023 as the latest metropolitan delineation release available at this check. OMB Bulletin 23-01, printed page 65, lists the New York–Newark–Jersey City metropolitan area across the 12 New Jersey and 10 New York counties named here.
That is a statistical reference, not a provider's territory. Newark itself is in Essex County; the named communities give a broader way to describe commercial requests, while farther-out and New York addresses are reviewed case by case. No drive time or mileage radius is inferred from the county list.

You can describe the facility address even when it is not named here. The independent company confirms whether the location and requested work fit its actual arrangements. Do not treat a nearby listed town as a confirmed service commitment for another property.
