Metro Nashville specifics, verified: the adopted list includes the 2024 International Building and Existing Building Codes and the 2023 NEC. The 2024-code adoption took effect July 16, 2025. Commercial renovation guidance explicitly includes new and replacement doors; a component repair is not automatically the same scope.
On fees, plainly: Metro's commercial construction fee schedule is valuation-based and includes separate fee components. It is not a flat door-replacement price. Ask for the calculation for your actual project, including plan review and applicable trade permits, in writing before you sign.
