Which permit office matches which town
In the Denver metro, the office that issues a commercial door permit depends on the parcel, not the mailing address. Denver, Aurora, Commerce City, Thornton and several other cities run their own building departments and their own contractor licensing. The counties permit only unincorporated areas. Confirm the jurisdiction before anyone orders a door.

Facilities in Boulder County (Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Erie), Weld County (Greeley, Fort Lupton, Firestone, Frederick, Dacono, Platteville), Larimer County (Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor), El Paso County (Colorado Springs, Monument, Fountain), Morgan County (Fort Morgan) and Teller County (Woodland Park) may use the same kinds of commercial dock-and-door equipment. Requests from those areas are reviewed case by case — call and give the address, and the provider confirms whether it can take the job.
