What makes a door high-speed?
Speed and duty cycle. These doors are built to open and close many times an hour, fast, to keep an opening closed as much as possible. That drives a different curtain, different guides, a different drive and different controls from an ordinary commercial door.
The curtain came out of the guides. Can it re-seat itself?
Some designs include breakaway or automatic self-repairing features. That is a feature of the particular model, not a guarantee about yours after an impact. Do not keep cycling it to find out.
Can a torn fabric curtain be patched?
Sometimes, depending on where the tear is, how big it is, and what the manufacturer allows for that curtain. A replacement curtain may need to be made to size. Ask about lead time early.
