Sources checked 2026-09-17. 208 rows across eight CSV files, with the same complete rows in `rolling-vs-sectional-ledger.json`.

## Scope and evidence

This is a source-based U.S.-market specification reference, not a statistically representative product sample, a field-performance study or a certification. Standard clauses retain their edition and conditions. Product statements belong to the named model/configuration and document snapshot. Editorial prompts are not code requirements. The standards are voluntary unless made applicable through another governing instrument; the dataset does not establish jurisdictional adoption.

## Units and missing values

R-values use h·ft²·°F/Btu and U-factors use Btu/(h·ft²·°F), following DASMA TDS #163. Some product-page cells do not print the units; `unit_note` discloses the convention. No conversion or reciprocal calculation was performed. Air leakage is in cfm/ft² (cubic feet per minute per square foot), and is meaningful only with test pressure, method and configuration. Other units are inches, feet, lbf (pounds-force), N (newtons), complete cycles, cycles/day, years, events and dimensionless factors/ratios. Manufacturer/standard paired customary and metric values are source-reported, not newly converted.

An empty CSV cell is JSON `null`; it is never zero. “Not stated” means not established for that precise scope in the reviewed source, not that a model lacks the capability. A textual statement of non-applicability remains text. Boolean-looking title observations retain their source CSV strings. All nonempty data values—including numbers—are strings in JSON to preserve qualifiers and exact CSV parity. Composite display rows in the figures table are summaries; individual numeric inputs are in the calculations table.

## JSON layout

`files` maps exact CSV filenames to row counts and `table_key`; `tables` contains every complete CSV row and field. Top-level metadata supplies version, verification date, scope, creator, methodology, missing-value rule and reuse note. JSON is not merely a manifest. No claim of live distribution is made by an intended article URL.

## Reproduce the calculations

Run `python rolling-vs-sectional-calculations.py --verify` with this script and the CSV/JSON files in the same folder. The script validates every data row against JSON, recomputes the 21 arithmetic rows and checks normal, zero, invalid and boundary cases. It does not test equipment, verify the live website or create an engineering approval.

## Reuse

The downloads contain selected factual observations, brief source-attributed paraphrases and original annotations. They do not include complete standards, manuals or drawings. No blanket license is asserted for third-party material. Preserve the issuer citation, scope, edition, conditions and verification date when reusing a figure.
